i was looking through my emails. and i saw this. something really meaningful..

A young wife sat on a sofa on a hot humid day, drinking iced tea and visiting with her Mother. As they talked about life, about marriage, about the responsibilities of life and, the obligations of adulthood the mother clinked the ice cubes in her glass thoughtfully and turned a clear, sober glance upon her daughter.

"Don't forget your Sisters," she advised, swirling the tealeaves to the bottom of her glass. "They'll be more important as you get older. No matter how much you love your husband, no matter how much you love the children you may have, you are still going to need Sisters. Remember to go places with them now and then; do things with them. "Remember that 'Sisters' means ALL the women... your girlfriends, your daughters, and all your other women relatives too. "You'll need other women Women always do."

What a funny piece of advice!' the young woman thought. Haven't I just gotten married? Haven't I just joined the couple-world? I'm now a married woman, for goodness sake! A grownup! Surely my husband and the family we may start will be all I need to make my life worthwhile!' But she listened to her Mother. She kept contact with her Sisters and made more women friends each year. As the years tumbled by, one after another, she gradually came to understand that her Mom really knew what she was talking about. As time and nature work their changes and their mysteries upon a woman, Sisters are the mainstays of her life. After more than 30 years of living in this world, here is what I've learned:

Children grow up.
Jobs come and go.
Love waxes and wanes.
Men don't do what they're supposed to do.
Hearts break.
Parents die.
Colleagues forget favors.
Careers end.
BUT......... Sisters are there, no matter how much time and how many miles are between you.
A girl friend is never farther away than needing her can reach When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you have to walk it by yourself, the women in your life will be on the valley's rim, cheering you on, praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on your behalf, and waiting with open arms at the valley's end. Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk beside you..Or come in and carry you out.

Girlfriends, daughters, granddaughters, daughters-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, Mothers, Grandmothers, aunties, nieces, cousins, and extended family, all bless our life! The world wouldn't be the same without women, and neither would I. When we began this adventure called womanhood, we had no idea of the incredible joys or sorrows that lay ahead. Nor did we know how much we would need each other. Every day, we need each other still.

RAH. haven blogged for a few days. AND I DIDNT COME ONLINE LAST NIGHT. miracle can. hahaha. poly has been kinda busy. rushing reports and studying for quiz. IOChem quiz is FINALLY over. omg la. i never fail to fall asleep during iochem lectures AND tutorials. haha. stayed up for so many nights to finish off my stupid iochem report but it's still not done. RAHH. sucks. but its alright(: IOCHEM QUIZ IS OVER and that matters. hahhaa.

the many late nights have made my body so freaking weak can. and today, THE BIG DAY, i went to school with a fever)): freaking tired and i was practically falling asleep during my favourite lecture-- MICROBIO. ohwell.. kinda sucks. had this lil mock mathcad test. WOOHOO. full marks:D i'll be happy if i get the same for the real mathcad test next week. heh.

after Emath, went for lunch with xx. had my fav fish and chips. yummyyy. i know im not supposed to eat such heaty stuffs. but i simply cant stop tempting myself with it. hehe((:

went to the lib after that and AS USUAL, the girls were there and the guys reached at the library at the same time as us. haha. and i saw alan's supposed-to-be-ho girl TWICE. i think she stalks me. HAHA. jk:D

stuided for iochem for the final time and POOF. off to LT4A/B. seriously man. the LT was freaking cold. had tutorial first, then the quiz. hopefully i can do well for this quiz. RAHHHH. finished quite early but i wanted to check so i checked and checked. then i realised it was nearing 3 pm. (FRENCH CLASS:D) so yea. i ran off. hahaa. second to leave the LT. so gay la.

rushed to the business school and when i reached edwin said there's NO FRENCH today. hoorays and boos. hoorays 'cause i've not finished french hw and boos 'cause i cant speak french in my odd manner. HAHA.

Well well. i don't know if it's a good day or bad day for me. haha. Supposed to meet baby but my stomach hurt like shit so i had to go to the toilet for god knows how many times. PLUS. i woke up late. LOL. so ya. i rushed outta house. and i was shivering cos of the stupid stomach that made me feel like going to the toilet to lausai. LOL. in the end i was freaking late. sorry baby. heh=p

slacked around, and we went to clementi central for lunch. had macs. we tried the new burger. not bad. haha.if only there was more black pepper sauce. hah. then it'll be even yumm-ier((: after that we went down to np to study. haha. stayed there till 5 then baby and i went off.

we cam-whored! haha.

WA. i've not been blogging for quite so time. hha. since im too lazy to study and have nothing to do,i decided to blog((:

was chatting with chong just now. and i realised i do miss tk. although i thought i would never ever miss it. ohwell. tk i miss you. i miss my friends in tk. i miss the tk uniform. i miss the togetherness.. all those silly things we do in class. things i cant do in SP)):

it's gonna be a month to the opening of school. time flies. i remembered the first day of school, when xixiang and i sat in the front row, while the rest sat at the back. i never knew our class would bond so fast. i love 1b24((:

but as time goes, we get to know people better. we know who we can trust, and who we cant. and i realise the big difference between tk and sp. THE GIRLS AND THE GUYS.

in tk. u can be so freaking close to everyone. no one says anything. in sp, u're closer to some guys, and people start talking behind your back. sheesh man. i don't want to comment so much about this matter this. i just think it's kinda childish to have this mindset. so ya.

in tk, u see ur friend, u go, HELLO. then u hug that friend. but in sp, u just smile and wave/say hello. feels really really odd. i feel like im seeing a stranger rather than a friend now :S

people in sp are like so not-open. probably it's because i was from a girls' school and we're all very open. we dont care how people think, we say what we want.. in so it's different. you behave like that and certain group of people will start bad mouthing you. seriously.

the difference in culture makes me uncomfortable.

MAN I MISS TK. i wish i was in a girls' school forever.

OLALA. SPIDERMAN 3 ROCKS. damn nice can. touching((: kinship, friendship and relationship all inside. lol. so damn cool la. haha.

SCHOOL TODAY WAS SLACK. seriously. lol. first lesson was EXCEL. then IDEA. woohoo. excel was slack. IDEA WAS SLACKER. i was watching BAI SHE JU TA during IDEA. since my laptop cant connect to spwireless AND joseph chan and samuel aw was just going around helping some people do don't know what. haha. xixiang and benson joined me to watch BAI SHE JU TA. lol. then joseph chan came and he said he liked the BAD GUY IN THAT SHOW. tsk. haha. then i was kidding. said he's a pervert etc. HAHA((: aww man. i like joseph chan. HE'S DAMN NICE. hahhaa. HE LET US OFF AN HOUR EARLY AGAIN! so xixiang and i went to fc 6 for lunch. had the yummy pig organ soup. heh. or rather, meat ball soup. haha.

went to the library(AGAIN) to slack with her while waiting for the rest of the girls to come. heh. after slacking when for CPPB tutorial. AH. ANOTHER SLACK LESSON. she ended the tutorial likeee. in 20 mins. LOL. how cool is that? :D then we just slacked in the room while waiting for our CPPB pract to start. haha.

left the tutorial room at abt 1.50pm, then strolled to W3. heh. I LIKE MR KONG:D aww man. i like him i like him. his laughter DAMN CUTE LA. hahaha. and ~~she's~~ he's sick too. hahaha. gawin and yk was talking dirty (AGAIN) the whole time. haha. damn funny. then there was this part of the experiment, we gotta wait for like 30 mins. so yimin followed me to buy icecream. AH. DAMN NICE. haha. and i tempted afew people:D

after pract xixiang, ethel, benson, travis, bern, elaine, jiamin, rongcheng, jiayang and i went to bugis for our movie. OLALA. NICE NICE. I LIKE SPIDERMAN 3:D oh and we took neoprints. AGAIN. hahah. its niceeee:D

i love french lessons. today's one was fun. but NOTHING went in. except for Ca va. haha. and Bof :D hahha. and as usual, i was fooling ard again. hehe. lalala. however, french was kinda sickening today. RAH. half an hour after we started lecture, I NEEDED TO PEE. real badly)): then. i was like. aiya NVM wait a while more. then i ask. IN THE END. i waited and waited. and when i wanted to go to the toilet. i saw. THE FRENCH VERSION OF. MAY I GO TO THE TOILET PLEASE. omg la. i could have just FAINTED i tell you. lol. sheesh man. and i didnt want to ask the lecturer in french. so i WAITED. back from marina! met sister and bern. BERN HAS NICE EYES! DAMN NICE. and i'm not kidding. LOL.

saw yk at macs. then we went to the arcade. played. and i tried to vent my frustations la. but DUH I CANT. i dono why. i just got even more upset): bern and sis knows. so SHHH(: thanks to them i'm feeling much better already. so yeaa.

then we went to subway to study. nth went in at first. but after awhile stuffs were going into my head. so i studied studied studied. SO GUAI :D studied till like 7+. then we went for dinner at kfc. talked, laughed and ate. then we went to walk around. after that we went back.

THAT 2 IDIOT KEEP SCARING ME. STUPID ASS. rahh.
